Friday, December 22, 2006 ( Back from Church camp! @ 8:36 PM ) Actually the camp was on tue morning at Parkway Parade 8am de, but we facilitators and the committees went on monday evening to get ready some logistics and for prayer gathering. However, when we reached there @ ECP, it rained so heavily that we could only set up one tent and in the end couln't sleep there.   We prayed over there, prayed for the rain to stop when the camp starts the next day.  After some briefing, we were instructed to go to some of our easteners' church friends house to stay over. My cell brothers went over to Jasper house. His dog hor, power la, so hairy, so cute! haha! how i wish he will give me that dog for christmas! haha! on tue morning we went for the camp and gathered at our church at parkway parade there at 7am. for the first day, it still rained, but we PUSH on! Pray Until Something Happen!! On that day, we shuttered btw our church and ECP camp site for a few time! haha! Thank God on Wed rain stopped! We saw SUN for the first time during the camp!! On wed, we did the 7000 Challenge - Air, Land and Sea. 7000 Air - As a tribe, we aimed to climb a total of 7000 storeys of stairs. We did it! We climbed a total of 10 061 storeys!! HAha! Of which, i contributed a total of 4!! Haha! Coz i facilators ma, so needa station at the top floor to ensure my group members are safe! keke! 7000 Land - As a tribe, we aimed to run a total of 7000 meters. We did it! We ran a total of over 10 000 meters. I contributed about 700m. Haha! 7000 Sea - As a tribe, we aimed to pass balls for a total of 7000 times in sea. We did it! And also for more than 10 000 times! Haha! Thank God! Here's my cool team members!  [During breakfast!]  [Last day before we booked out. If u're wondering why we did the 'bull' sign,we're from team 11]  [That cute twins brother, they were not unhappy, just too tired to smile! keke!] After the camp, came home and slept for 12hrs! And woke up at 6am this morning to go back to sec school to help out the bookshop aunty to sell uniforms. Coz todae is sec 1 registration ma. Fun. Wanted to do charity de, but she payed my $30. =) Thank God for all! 0 comments |
