Wednesday, March 28, 2007 ( @ 10:48 PM ) Great fun and triedness! Haha!  [The organizing committee wore fake crocs for the camp]  [That's 1 of the camp coordinator - dun worry it's camera trick!] Today went to ulu pandan river to explore the place on canoe. Gonna have an event coming up this sat. Will post pictures! =) Stay tune! 0 comments Sunday, March 25, 2007 ( 3 weeks of updates! @ 12:42 AM ) Week 3 - 5th to 7th March (Mon - Wed) Before the camp, I spent lots of hrs packing my bag for my 5 day camps! Woke up early in the morning! Went to meet the rest of my people at Marina Bay Mrt Station @ 7am! Ha! We gathered there to proceed on to the jetty to go to St John's Island for our Peer Mentoring Camp (PMC). It's a camp for them - the upcoming Student Leader cum Peer Mentor to get to know each other better as well as to pick some skills.
Week 3 - 7th to 9th March (Wed - Fri) Right after my PMC camp, I went for lunch with my friends @ PS @ Pasta Maina. Was suppose to reach the jetty @ Punggol @ 5pm. So I left PS at around 4pm, thinking it I was still early. Man I was way WRONG! Reached Punggol MRT station at aroung 4.30pm. Asked the bus instructor how to get to the jetty and went to take the bus there. Upon reaching there, I realised it's the wrong jetty. Called my teacher in Ubin and confirmed that I should be at some country club - which is the other side of the area. Man! That was like 4.45pm! I quickly buckled my HEAVY bagpack and did something that i wouldn't think I will do - ran along the road, towards the country club. I prayed prayed and prayed that i can hitch a ride from some kind souls. Thank God I managed to get a ride to the junction towards the country club and another ride into the place. Man! Phew! It was like my SOLO amazing race in Punggol la! During the 3 days at Ubin, the graduated seniors there (me included) became part time nurses! The 1st Aider there cannot make it de loh. So SLOW. So our rooms (1 guy and 1 girl) became ICU and normal wards for the sick sec 1 and sec 3 (both level having camps at the same camp side). During the last night, I alone was looking after 5 guys in my room. All sick - 2 having HIGH fever. Every hr I'll wake up to take temperature for them, at the same time praying they will be fine. I'll change towels for them, praying that they will heal faster. Jesus. My heart was all out for them. Reached YISS in the evening on friday, had camp fire. That's the wrost la! It was done by the camp consultant, man, crap! We can do better loh! Haha!     [What happened to me? ask Jasline! Evil! Argh! Haha!]   [These 2 sec 1 boys were the one with high fever. Waiting for ferry back to school with the rest on the last day.]  [Haha! A sec 3 boy sleeping on my Discipline Master's shoulder! Cute!] Week 3 - Sat & Sun Sat went to IT fair to check out the prices for hard disc, but didnt buy. After that went for Church 144 meeting. Sunday, went for church service - was on usher duty. After that went to IT fair again and bought a Seagate 2.5inc 160GB hardisc for $200. =) Week 4 - 12th to 15th March (Mon - Thur) Went to KL with my poly division for Adventure Trip. =) It was damn fun man! See picturessssss can le. =))                                               Week 4 - 16th to 18th March (Fri - Sun) Had my church FCBC's 6th G12 conference. God spoke to me mainly about 2 things: Love and the Lost. Love 1 Cor 13:1-3 " If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing." For the past months, I've been constantly reminded by God to love everyone - even those who hate me. Man it's not easy. But thank God I tried. Loving those near to me is even harder - my family. Taking their presence for granted is the easy way out, but not God's way. The lost Pastor told us that after spending a certain amt of time sharing Christ to someone, praying that they will recieve Christ or to stay in Him, if to no avil, more on. Move on to others who are more receptive. But, I believe that yes we have to move on, but we cannot forget to pray for those unsaved/back-slided. All these while i've been praying for some of my bros who have back-slided, getting away from church after recieving Christ. I just don't believe that they recieve Chirst for fun and not be moved by God's love in the first place - I'll push on.
Week 5 - 19th to 20th March (Monday - Tuesday) Went to my friend's chalet at sentosa. Had real fun! Thou it was a short period of time and sentosa really have nothing for us to do! haha!         [Mad people! haha!] Week 5 - 21st March (Wed) Went to Clementi's gym with one of my senior. We really work our ass off! Haha! He's a Christian too. Got to share with him my goals in life - mainly to touch people lives. =) He's a great guy. Week 5 - 22nd March (Thur) Went Bukit Timah hill in the morning with some of my junors from YISS. We found out that there was a land slide at one of the small route in the hill, thus we took the main route for the 2nd half of our journey. Took around 45min to reach the top. Haha! After that went home bathed, I went back YISS to discussed with the Math HOD about how i can help out in coaching the sec students. Most prob I'll be able to go back on a weekly basis to teach them math, sec 3 and/or 4. Great! Can impact lives! Pray that God will be with my whenever I'm there teaching! After that we met up again and went to bugis to walk around. Haha!   [Woot!] Week 5 - 23rd to 24th March (Fri - Sat) Went back to poly to plan for our divisional freshment orientation camp.
