She - Just not ready yet. Full stop. Thank God. 0 comments Friday, September 07, 2007 ( Great 2 days @ 11:32 PM ) It was indeed a enriching experience for me. The theme was "The Starbucks Experience". Our meeting place was transformed into sometime similar to Starbucks, with coffee beans on each table to lighten the whole atmosphere, with Starbucks coffee as 'doorgift' and with display on Starbucks items like cups, menus and bears. It was a pleasant sight/place. I was being placed in one of the student group.  [This sec3 girl, who have a twin, has very LARGE eyes. Haha!] The speakers (Mr Adam - Discipline Master & Mdm Ang - VicePrincipal) started off introducing the company and the 5 principles used which leads them to success. 5 principles are:
 [Interesting right?]  [My group, consisted of students from sec1-3. Well, i'm the oldest there - probably.. sec 7? haha!] Mr Adam than told the students to come up with a 'freshener' show for the teachers the next day. The students brainstormed, came out with a rojark advert, i went home and came up with some digital visual. Today, we started off with 2 videos that brought us into the digital aspect of our lives in near future. 2 words to sum all up: Virtual Reality. The students wrote down their reflections on that topic while the teachers discuss further into the school's strategic plans for next year. The students thoughts:     Come to think about it, it'is quite creepy. Virtual Reality, by than, we will not differentiate what's real and virtual. Oh well. At the end of the workshop, we went to look for one of our teacher and found out hell lot of stuffs/things that's going on in school. Interesting. One question i ponder: "Will i fight for the right thing in future?" And we move on to a pretty sensitive topic, following a pretty freaky one. No comments. Met up with tx at np wanted to go to school gym. But it was kinda late as i'll have to reach yiss by 3pm, so decided to go to yiss de gym. But when we reached there, we realised there wasn't any treadmill and aircon, so we didn't work out at all! crap! haha! Met my sec sch VP and she briefed me about the strategic planning with the HODs on coming thursday and friday. Yup. After that, went to Ps Adrian retreat @ pasir ris aloya loyang. Had bbq for dinner, got lobster! haha! End. 0 comments Monday, September 03, 2007 ( My 'First' Day on Attachment @ 11:35 PM )  Today went to main office @ tuas for an orientation @ 8am with the rest: See Yong, Nurul, Yu Min, Aveline & Pei Xuan. Watched a corporate video and we were distributed a copy of their Interns Booklet. Kao, which company got such booklet? Not bad. And some areas that we were being reminded of are: NO USING OF MSN/ICQ/CHAT ROOMS. NO FOOD IN OFFICE. NO PERSONAL PHONE CALLS FOR TOO LONG. Haha. no msn, and when they showed us the corporate video using a IBM lappy, a msn sign in window pop out. LOLs. HR i/c orientated us around the office @ level 7. I was being introduced to my GM Mr Fabian Lim. Doesn't look REALLY friendly. Probably he was busy. haha. hope he'll turn out to be fine. I left office @ 10am. and was told to come back to the tuas office 3 weeks from today so that my GM can fetch me to the WH @ Keppel. Freaky. Wonder wad car he drives.... hmmmm... After that went to Army Open House and the officer asked me to sign up to be a Specialist. Got a few. Was looking @ the Logistics Specialist. But for a scholarship, that option wasn't available. So he into me to go to COMBAT Specialist - CHIONG hills and seas. Lols. Of coz not, he looked at my size and told me i can consider their Combat Intelligence side. Sounds cool. That's for mine first day @ work+ others. Lol. Pray that everything will be fine. Got to know from my other friend that was posted to the same department as me last semester. He said the working environment there is not v good, staffs there also not v nice. Jesus. I can only pray for the better. 0 comments Saturday, September 01, 2007 ( Troubled... @ 12:28 AM ) These few days, i'm having the same feelings when i was in china back then. i know i want to get into a relationship only after ns, when i'm in uni. i know it's not best for me to start one now. i know you'll give me the best if i wait for the right time. i know i got other better things for me to do now. i know it's not the right time now. i know i am not mature now. i know i know. i've been preaching abt not having a bgr now to all those i know. but, i find it so hard to follow even when i know it's good for me. but, the feeling is soo strange. but, i'm so confuse & lost. i just looked at my diary i wrote when i was in china last year. it's like wad i'm feeling now. i sometimes wonder if i've been doing the correct things for the past 3 years a not. my actions, my words, my all. i'm struggling. please guide me Lord. guide me through this. 0 comments |
